The Witch – Blu Ray and UHD Coming Soon From Second Sight


Second Sight in the UK is set to release the acclaimed horror film The Witch onto a new remastered Blu ray and UHD special edition package. Robert Eggers’ internationally lauded directorial debut features a spellbinding performance from a young Anya Taylor-Joy early on in a career that has seen her become a force to be reckoned with. Now, this chilling, fear-filled film gets the highly anticipated Limited Edition 4K UHD/Blu-ray treatment, packed full of bonus features, courtesy of Second Sight Films.

New England, 1630. Upon threat of banishment by the church, an English farmer leaves his colonial plantation and relocates his family to a remote plot of land on the edge of an ominous forest—within which lurks an unknown evil. Strange and unsettling things begin to happen —animals turn malevolent, crops fail, one child disappears and another seems to become possessed by an evil spirit. With suspicion and paranoia mounting, daughter Thomasin is accused of witchcraft.
