The fabulous new Star Trek TV series Star Trek – Strange New Worlds Season 1, is to be released on Blu-ray in the USA and will include all 10 episodes. There will also be a special steel book edition. No details on any special features yet.
The series follows Captain Christopher Pike and his crew which includes Spock and Uhura as they travel the galaxy exploring and finding strange new worlds and new civilisations.
All 10 episodes got some great reviews with critics saying things like “Exciting”, “Thrilling” and “The best Trek since the original series” It stars Anson Mount (Captain Pike), Ethan Peck (Spock), Celia Rose Gooding (Uhura), Jess Bush (Nurse Chapel) and Christina Chong (La’an Noonien-Singh).
No news as yet on a Region B UK release but I am sure it will be announced soon….
